He did it with a friend but he was the only one to be selected for the next steps. Although Jamie didn’t go to the finals; this program was a huge help for him because many agencies spotted him.
In 2002, Jamie stopped his studies to become a model. Spotted by the agency Select, he will make his first photos for GQ and Attitude magazines. Very soon he will be famous in the modeling world and in 2003 he met Keira Knightley. Actually, this year was important for him due to his guest star role in the successful American show of ABC “Once Upon a Time” where he played the role of Sheriff Graham and the Huntsman for 7 episodes.
Early 2012, Jamie posed for Shortlist Mode magazine and decides to concentrate on his acting career. He came back in the season final of Once Upon A Time (1X22) as the Huntsman and got the lead role of a British miniseries “The Fall” (BBC 2) where he plays Paul Spector, a serial killer. During the summer, Jamie leads the main role of the new film by the Belgian director Dominique Deruddere, entitled “Flying Home“. He plays the role of Colin, a wealthy American businessman who has a strange obsession with pigeons. The film is scheduled for 2014.

In February, Jamie presented his first award for the Irish Film and Televison Awards 2013. As for love, this year Jamie will mary his fiancé Amelia Warner. The wedding took place in Somerset on April 26th 2013. At the end of June, we also learn that Amelia is pregnant; so Jamie is going to become a father for the first time!
